The shorter way to reach the refuge Certascan, begins at the point called Canalada, place that we will reach following the forest road of 13 kms. from Tavascan. The ascent by walk is very direct and we reach the refuge immediately. In November 2000, was closed the access to vehicles at the dam Montalto and maybe we will can just go from here by taxi, so it's better to take information of what is the current situation.

If we are not afraid to climb a higher unevenness, and we want to avoid potholes on the forest road we will choose the path of Llurri, which begins from the plain of Borda at 1450 meters (next to the more well-known plain of Boavi).

Another usually route, comes from the lakes of Closell and Naorte, so that the taxis of Tavascan, leave the groups at the first lake and following one more flat, arrive to the refuge to later go down to Canalada, where awaits the taxi and return them to Tavascan.

We can also access for Noarre (route Nº38), but this long route is more relaxed going down, because it will be less exhausting and also will allow us to know these charming landscapes. To do it this way, the better is go up by 4x4 to Canalada or Closell and the next day come to pick up us in Graus.

The shortest access from France is described in route Nº43, but although we can arrive from Mounicou by the Nº39, Aulús-Les-Bains, route 45, etc.

1. For Canalada, 0'45 h.
2. For the path of Llurri, 3'10 h.
3. For the lakes Closell and Naorte, 1'15 h.
43.For France, of Prat Matau(Guzet-Neige), 4'50 h.
